Partnerships across the social sector
Theia Impact has partnered with organisations working on child rights, gender, ageing, education, disability and more – often at moments when they are planning for scale or strengthening their foundations.
The challenge
Protsahan was delivering effective programmes with adolescent girls and was looking to develop a coherent strategy to scale their work sustainably. Teams needed clarity on priorities, resource requirements and how to grow without losing quality.
What we did
- Co‑developed a clear organisational purpose and 5‑year strategy.
- Built a programme roadmap for scaling across locations.
- Designed integrated people, financial and operational plans.
The impact
- Clear Human Resource practices and learning frameworks strengthening staff capability.
- Financial clarity and budget discipline aligned to strategic goals.
- A scalable roadmap that teams across locations can implement with consistency.
Protsahan now has a unified, actionable strategy enabling planned growth. Their teams understand priorities, resources are allocated strategically, and they can scale while maintaining quality.
The challenge
Dignity Foundation was experiencing declining membership among senior citizens. The organisation needed to understand why members were leaving and how to acquire and retain them across their pan‑India network.
What we did
- Conducted in‑depth interviews with team members and lapsed members across India to uncover barriers and expectations.
- Reviewed activities, communication and member experience across all touchpoints.
- Co‑developed acquisition and retention strategies with practical, easy‑to‑implement recommendations.
- Facilitated a pan‑India workshop to equip staff with tools and build ownership of the new approach.
The impact
- Clear processes for member acquisition and retention that teams can execute.
- Strengthened Human Resource policies and staff engagement frameworks.
- Refreshed member activities and engagement models at local centres.
- Improved online presence and magazine content driving member value.
Dignity Foundation now has evidence‑based strategies to reverse membership decline. The pan‑India workshop ensured staff across all locations understood the new approach and were equipped to implement it. Recommendations have been rolled out, and teams have the tools and confidence to acquire and retain members effectively.

- Developed financial planning models enabling programmes to be evaluated as profit centres.
The impact
- Clear visibility into financial performance of each programme and the organisation overall.
